WILDERNESS FIRST AID: INTENSITY LEVEL II

 Our goal for this class is for the participant to be more confident in their ability to use their First Aid Skills in an emergency situation. This class focuses almost exclusively on hands-on training using the EDGE training technique.

1. CPR/AED for Adult, Child, Infant Certification, expires two years from last course date, ECSI (Emergency Care and Safety Institute) is the certifying organization
2. Stop the Bleed Certification, Stop the Bleed/American College of Surgeons is the certifying organization, no expiration
3. Wilderness First Aid Certification, expires two years from last course date, ECSI is the certifying organization
4. Wilderness First Aid Field Manual will be provided to each class participant
5. These classes meet the BSA requirements for High Adventure Camps
6. CPA/AED Certification is required for WFA certification and is not optional even if someone has a current CPR/AED certification card
